Three months of Python takes you from copying syntax to solving actual problems. This plan is 148 hours, about 1.6 hours a day. You start with an interactive intro, get real reps with Codecademy, then take Harvard's CS50P for the rigor that separates hobbyists from people who can build. The last third turns toward data with scientific computing and data analysis, because that is where free Python skills convert into paid work. This is the path that follows the 30-day Python plan when you are ready to go deep.

This plan is 148 hours of free courses spread across 90 days. That works out to about 1.6 hours a day, or roughly 11.5 hours a week if you prefer to batch it. Miss a day and you make it up on the weekend; the point is a pace you can actually keep.

Why this set, and what we left out
We front-loaded fundamentals and ended on data because Python's job market leans data-heavy. We left MIT 6.0001 out even though it is excellent; it overlaps CS50P heavily, and stacking both would waste weeks on repetition better spent on the pandas and analysis courses. Codecademy sits between the quick intro and CS50P so the jump in difficulty is gradual rather than a cliff.
The honest catch
This is a strong generalist and data-leaning Python path, not a specialized one. It does not go deep on web frameworks like Django, nor on machine learning. Those are separate tracks that build on this foundation.

Should I do the 30-day plan first?

Does this cover machine learning?
No. This is core Python plus data analysis. For ML, move to the 3-month machine learning plan or the 6-month AI engineer path once you have this foundation.
