Data science pulls from three skills at once, so a good three-month plan spreads across all of them rather than going deep on one. This plan is 91 hours, about an hour a day, and it moves fast because most of the courses are short and applied. You get Python and pandas for handling data, SQL for pulling it, real data analysis for finding stories in it, and an intro to machine learning so you finish having trained an actual model. It is a breadth-first tour of what the job involves.

This plan is 91 hours of free courses spread across 90 days. That works out to about 1 hours a day, or roughly 7.1 hours a week if you prefer to batch it. Miss a day and you make it up on the weekend; the point is a pace you can actually keep.

Why this set, and what we left out
We favored short, applied Kaggle and freeCodeCamp courses over one giant program because data science is a stack of skills, and seeing each one in isolation makes the whole clearer. We left the 180-hour HarvardX Data Science certificate for the 6-month data-scientist plan; it is thorough but too long to fit here without crowding out the hands-on ML intro that makes this plan feel complete.
The honest catch
This is a breadth-first foundation, not job-ready depth. You will touch each core skill and train a model, but statistics, experiment design, and production ML need the longer 6-month data-scientist path. Think of this as deciding whether the field is for you.
