Free R Courses

R is a smaller catalog here than most languages on this site, and that's a fair reflection of where it's actually used: statistics, academic research, and some corners of data science, rather than general programming. freeCodeCamp's R Programming tutorial is the free entry point if you're new to the language and want the basics of statistical computing. Johns Hopkins' Data Science Specialization on Coursera (audit it for free) is the more serious option, a nine-course sequence that uses R throughout to teach the full data science workflow, from cleaning data to building models. If you already know Python, R is worth learning specifically for its stats libraries, not as a replacement.
