The honest catch
Pluralsight's paid extras are its skill assessments, guided learning paths with progress tracking, and hands-on labs graded against a rubric. Free vendor training gives you sandboxes but not the same structured skill-measurement and role-based path tracking that teams use Pluralsight for. Solo learners rarely miss it; a manager measuring a team might.
