Free Swift Courses

Swift is Apple's language for building iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS apps, so if the goal is shipping something to the App Store, this is where you start. It's modern, readable, and safer than the Objective-C it replaced, with a lot of the rough edges of older languages sanded off. Both free courses here come from Paul Hudson's Hacking with Swift, the standard free recommendation for a reason. 100 Days of Swift teaches the language alongside UIKit, while 100 Days of SwiftUI focuses on SwiftUI, Apple's newer declarative way to build interfaces. If you're starting fresh in 2026, SwiftUI is the one to pick. One honest catch: real iOS work leans on a Mac and Xcode, so Swift is the least platform-flexible language on this site. If you don't own Apple hardware, weigh that before you commit.
